2025/26 Black Appalachian Storyteller Fellow

Jazmine LeBlanc announced as the Tennessee representative for the 2025 Black Appalachian Storyteller Fellows by the National Association of Black Storytellers for their 4th year of the fellowship.

Jazmine LeBlanc is a Black Appalachian storyteller, folklorist, and documentary filmmaker whose work explores the stories that shape communities and preserve cultural memory. Drawing from oral tradition, personal narrative, music, and community engagement, she creates experiences that invite audiences to listen deeply, reflect together, and recognize the stories they carry themselves.
